Zusammenfassung

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist for the 7am–3pm shift at Memorial Care Center. You will set up ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and oxygen devices, monitor responses, and document care per physician orders.

Work within a team to support geriatric patients and enhance quality of life. You should have an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy, an active RRT/CRT license, AMA-approved program, CPR certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Knowledge of geriatric population and/or rehabilitation.
• Current and valid RRT or CRT license.
• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
• Active Respiratory Care license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required, or willing to obtain within six months.
• Geriatric and rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Experience in long-term care, pulmonary rehab, LTAC, or hospital setting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with minimal supervision.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate respiratory devices per physician orders.
• Provide emergency care and assist CPR.
• Monitor therapy responses and adjust as directed.
• Maintain and clean equipment; document accurately.
• Educate patients and families on breathing techniques and device use.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff for patient management.
• Perform lung capacity and oximetry measurements.
• Adhere to productivity guidelines and accurate charting.
