Job summary

Easterseals NH is seeking a Residential Support Counselor for a new Nottingham, NH home. This full-time role (40 hours/week) includes afternoon/evening and weekend coverage. You will support adults in two adjacent homes, promote independence, assist with daily living activities, medications, and community outings.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the Human Services field.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence and safety for clients in a residential home.
• Assist with activities of daily living and medication administration.
• Support with light housekeeping, meal prep, and laundry.
• Accompany clients to daily activities, appointments, and community events.
• Follow each client’s care plan and complete daily documentation.
