Job summary

CODA, Inc. is seeking compassionate Residential Aides for the Gresham Recovery Center in Gresham, OR. Shifts include Saturday–Sunday mornings and a Monday evening schedule, totaling about 24 hours per week as part of a structured, supportive program.

You will monitor patients, assist with medications and outings, conduct security checks, document clinical notes, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment while upholding professional boundaries and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor behavior and location of patients; document events for clinical team.
• Respond to emergencies and patient medical needs per site procedures.
• Assist with planned outings and transportation while enforcing program rules.
• Perform security checks, searches of patient rooms, property, and possessions.
• Assist with self-administration of medications; record medication activities.
• Collect urine toxicology specimens following procedures.
• Record UA/Breathalyzer results in the EMR.
• Support housekeeping and maintain cleaning supplies; assist with shift handoffs.
• Answer phones, file, and assist visitors; maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Support patient-run community meetings and orientation; monitor treatment environment.
• Maintain professional boundaries and safe, therapeutic environment.
