Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Driver (Class B License Required) in California to safely transport residents to appointments and outings, ensuring proper loading/unloading and compliance with safety standards.

The role demands a clean driving record, English communication, basic clerical tasks, and compassionate service to seniors. Pay ranges from $19 to $21 per hour with a Friday–Saturday schedule and occasional evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma GED required.
• Age over 18 or valid work permit.
• Fingerprint clearances and TB test as required.
• Valid class of driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to speak, write and read English.
• Ability to perform basic clerical work.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to doctor appointments and outings, ensuring safety.
• Assist with loading/unloading residents and securing them in vehicles.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and schedule maintenance as needed.
• Ensure vehicle registrations and insurance are up-to-date; report issues.
• Maintain communication with the property about resident location and status.
• Assist with scheduling outings and activities within the community.
• Record trips and maintain basic clerical logs.
