Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Driver (Class B License Required) to safely operate community vehicles and transport residents to outings and appointments, in compliance with all laws and our policies.

You will perform daily vehicle inspections, assist with loading and seating, keep accurate trip logs, and coordinate with the Director of Resident Enrichment to plan outings and medical appointments. Strong English communication and compassion for older adults are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Age over 18 or has proper work permit.
• Fingerprint clearances and TB test per regulations.
• Valid Class B driver's license with required vehicle/van capacity.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to perform basic clerical work.
• Empathy toward older adults and families.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents safely to appointments and outings.
• Assist with loading/unloading and seating.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and schedule maintenance.
• Maintain vehicle registration and insurance information.
• Stay in contact with the property about resident location.
• Assist with scheduling outings and medical appointments.
• Perform day-to-day clerical tasks and log trips.
• Comply with all regulations for vehicle operation.
