Job summary

The GreenFields is seeking a Driver to transport residents to appointments and outings, assist with entering vehicles, and ensure safety and comfort during trips.

Responsibilities include vehicle maintenance logs, assisting with activities outside the community, and ensuring timely, respectful interactions with residents and staff. A valid NYS driver’s license is required, with at least 1 year of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Valid NYS driver’s license class 1–5; preferred class C, no moving violations in 3 years.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions and interact professionally with residents, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to medical appointments, errands, and outings, helping with entering/exiting vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Assist with transportation-related administrative tasks and maintenance of logs.
• Keep vehicles clean and in good operating condition; report malfunctions promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and dress code; maintain timeliness and courtesy with residents.
