Job summary

GREENVIEW is seeking a Driver (Maintenance) to assist residents with loading and unloading from facility vehicles and ensure safe transport to medical appointments and activities. You will maintain vehicle condition, log maintenance, and assist with transfers in and out of wheelchairs.

The role requires CNA training, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Must meet age and driving record criteria and be comfortable with GPS and local routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 25 years old.
• Valid driver’s license (DL).
• Experience with GPS and local driving area.
• No major traffic crimes in the last 7 years.
• CNA training and CE to maintain certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with loading and unloading from facility approved vehicles.
• Ensure safe transportation to scheduled medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain interior and exterior of facility vehicles for safe transport and community image.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance logs and schedule/coordinate routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations).
• Demonstrate safe clinical-based transfer techniques for patients in wheelchairs and van transfers.
• Lift and mobilize residents up to 70-75 pounds when needed.
• Make complex decisions regarding care for highly dependent residents.
