Job summary

Turenne & Associates is seeking a Transportation Aide for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Dothan, AL. You will help safely transport residents within and outside the facility, ensuring comfort and compliance with care protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Experience in transportation or caregiving is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with boarding/disembarking transportation vehicles and ensure comfort and safety during transport.
• Adhere to safety protocols and conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Provide reassurance and companionship to residents during transit.
• Maintain accurate transportation records and coordinate scheduling with facility staff.
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare providers to confirm arrangements.
• Assist in cleaning and basic maintenance of transportation vehicles and equipment.
• Be prepared to respond to emergencies and report incidents.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to transportation services.
