Job summary

The server will interact respectfully with residents, family members, visitors and staff. This is a safety sensitive position with responsibilities including setup, service, and post-meal duties.

Qualifications

• Strong sanitation habits.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests in a polite, positive manner; take beverage orders.
• Take food orders, explain menu items, and describe ingredients and cooking methods.
• Submit food orders into kitchen accurately using a POS system.
• Serve residents and guests in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Maintain a pleasant dining experience, checking on residents and guests during meals.
• Perform clean-up duties after each meal service and prepare for the next meal.
• Keep assigned tables clean and properly set up, including vacuuming and arranging tables and chairs.
• Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
