Job summary

Vitality is seeking a Personal Care Specialist to support residents with daily activities and routine care. You will assist with activities outlined in service plans and provide help with simple treatments, emotional support, and behavioral guidance as needed.

Responsibilities include assisting with additional tasks such as laundry and pet care, while participating in onboarding and ongoing training sessions to ensure high quality care and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with simple treatments as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans.
• Perform other services for residents (e.g., laundry and pet care).
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training and team meetings.
