Job summary

Vitality seeks a dedicated Personal Care Specialist to support residents in daily activities and health plans. You will assist with basic care tasks, observe resident needs, and report concerns to the supervisor.

You’ll also participate in onboarding, ongoing training, and follow all company policies and procedures to ensure dignity and quality of life for residents. The role requires clear English communication, physical capability to assist with activities, and compliance with health

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with simple treatments as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with emotional health and/or behavioral issues as indicated in service plans.
• Perform other services for residents (e.g., laundry and pet care) as indicated in service plans.
• Observe and report resident problems to supervisor or appropriate staff; participate in onboarding and in-service training.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.
