Job summary

Oaks Senior Living is seeking a caring Care Partner to support residents with daily activities and enhance their well-being. You will follow individualized service plans, protect confidentiality, and respond promptly to calls while maintaining dignity and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, reducing infection risks, and supporting residents’ participation in activities. This role requires 18+ years of age, valid screening, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in the care giving to older adults preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Desire to work with older adults. Friendly, caring disposition.
• Must be 18 years of age. Must have a satisfactory criminal history check.
• Must have physical exam by a licensed physician. Must have a negative drug screen.
• Must understand the risk of exposure to infectious waste, disease, chemicals, solution, and disinfectants.
• Must be able to react in an emergency situation.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance to residents in accordance with the Oaks Senior Living philosophy of Person-Centered Lifestyle and resident rights.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living according to individual preferences.
• Protect confidentiality of personal and medical information.
• Follow each resident’s Negotiated Service Plan and communicate changes to supervisors.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and assist with meals and dining room activities.
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in bathrooms and living spaces.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with residents and their families.
