The Care Partner will support residents with activities of daily living, uphold the mission, and promote well-being in a professional, kind and caring manner.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for older adults is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Desire to work with older adults.
• Friendly, caring disposition.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass a satisfactory criminal history check.
• Must have a physical exam by a licensed physician.
• Must have a negative drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Answer and respond immediately to resident calls.
• Assist with resident activities and encourage participation in activities.
• Encourage meals in dining room; escort residents and assist with meals.
• Observe changes in appetite or eating abilities and report to staff.
• Assist with cleaning the dining room after meals as assigned.
• Assist with cleaning and tidying residents’ room/apartment.
• Assist residents with showers, toileting, dressing and grooming tasks.
