Job summary

Mille Lacs Health System is seeking a Resident Care Attendant to support home services under RN/LPN direction at Lake Song Assisted Living. You will assist with daily resident care, document appropriately, and help maintain safety and comfort for residents.

The role emphasizes infection control, teamwork, and adherence to facility policies. Requires completion of orientation, shadowing, and medication training for RCA certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• RCA must complete 40 hours orientation and a minimum 24 hours of shadowing.
• Medication class requirements for RCA; requires an 8 hour class.

Responsibilities

• Assists with resident hygiene, nutrition, activity and treatments.
• Ensures residents needs and comfort are a priority when providing care.
• Ensures safety for residents in all situations.
• Follows policies and procedures of Lake Song Assisted Living.
• Ensures all documentation is completed on ResDex during each shift.
