Job summary

Prestige Senior Living in Spokane Valley, WA, seeks a compassionate caregiver to provide direct resident care and assist with daily activities, promoting resident dignity and choice. You will help maintain a positive physical and psychosocial environment aligned with Prestige’s values.

You will document observations, assist with meals, transfers, housekeeping, and participate in training and team activities.

Qualifications

• Must complete competency evaluation within 120 days of employment.
• State-required training including the Revised Fundamentals of Care, Dementia Care, First Aid, CPR and HIV training if not able to provide prior training.
• Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct resident care while promoting resident dignity, independence and choice; observes and reports changes to supervisor.
• Assists with ADLs, takes vital signs and documents care services and observations.
• Assists residents to and from dining room and activities; participates in dining and kitchen cleanup.
• Performs First Aid and initiates emergency response procedures as required.
• Attends trainings, in-services, and staff meetings; participates in move-ins/move-outs and transfers.
