Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Wayne, NJ seeks compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care with dignity. You will assist residents with daily living activities, escort to meals and activities, and support overall wellbeing in a warm senior living community.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is required.
• Must be able to speak and read in English.
• Experience with geriatric residents; dementia experience is a plus.
• Ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate, respectful care.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents manage Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escorting residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Supporting residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional and psycho-social wellbeing.
• Helping out in the Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort of residents.
• Following all policies and procedures and instructions from supervisors.
