Job summary

Elderwood Administrative Services is seeking a Resident Care Aide - Personal Care Aide (PCA) to join our team. This full-time role supports residents with daily living activities and personal care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

The position requires18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and certification by an approved basic training program. Prior experience with elderly residents is beneficial; shifts are 6am-2pm.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification by an approved basic training program.
• Must maintain current annual skills testing approval.
• Ability to assist residents with all Daily Living Activities including bathing, toileting, and transferring.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Daily Living Activities (ADLs) as needed, including meal support and grooming.
• Move and walk quickly and steadily in an emergency situation.
• Assist with wheelchair transport of residents.
• Apply PPE as required and respond to residents' requests.
• Follow plan of care and inform nurse after providing personal care services.
