Job summary

Ohio Living seeks a Resident Assistant to provide routine personal care, recreational activities, housekeeping, and meal service for residents in a compassionate, standards-driven environment.

You will assist with daily living, monitor residents’ condition, and report changes to the Charge Nurse. A high school diploma is required, and English reading/writing is essential; weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience Experience in a long-term care or other related healthcare setting preferred.
• Other Requirements Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Care and daily living support per plan of care, including assisting residents with meals and activities.
• Maintain current records and report changes in residents’ condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Perform routine light housekeeping and laundry tasks as directed and assist with infection control as required.
