Job summary

Markesan Resident Home is seeking a Resident Associate Assistant to provide direct care and assist with daily living activities for residents. You will follow the Housing Manager's guidance and support the care plan, while maintaining safety and quality of care in a warm, respectful environment.

You will participate in training, document care per policy, and support housekeeping, laundry, and activity programming.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language at a 10th grade level.
• Must demonstrate good physical and mental health.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care as assigned, completing tasks accurately and on time.
• Identifies safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action.
• Documents incidents and treatments per established procedures and communicates changes to the Housing Manager or Nurse-on-call.
