Job summary

Legacy Senior Living is seeking a compassionate CNA/Resident Assistant to deliver personalized care and companionship for seniors. You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to support daily living activities, dignified care, and resident independence while upholding safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in care giving to older adults preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Desire to work with older adults.
• Must pass background checks and applicable state screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and emotional support in accordance with each resident’s individual care plan.
• Support residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication reminders.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and calls—day or night.
• Build relationships with residents and families based on trust and compassion.
• Escort residents to meals and activities, and encourage social engagement.
• Observe and report any changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to wellness leadership.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with resident care policies.
• Assist with dining service, light housekeeping, laundry, and other daily comforts.
• Uphold resident rights, dignity, independence, and safety at all times.
