Responsibilities

• Administers and records administration of medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Observes and reports symptoms related to medications to the Resident Care Director.
• Determines and records effectiveness of medications and upholds resident rights.
• Stores medications safely and in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Monitors medications and ensures accountability across shifts.
• Inspects and maintains safety of equipment and supplies for residents.
• Obtains, records, and reports vital signs during medication administration.
• Follows infection control practices and OSHA standards.
• Communicates with residents and staff; seeks guidance as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned and arrives on time.
