Job summary

World Relief in Aurora is seeking a Case Specialist to support refugees during their first two years in the United States. This role involves case management, conducting home visits, and ensuring necessary referrals for health, legal services, and education.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, cross-cultural experience, and a mature Christian faith, as they will collaborate with community organizations to aid refugees in their adjustment process.

Qualifications

• Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities.
• Ability/willingness to conduct home visits and participate in community events.
• Understanding of social service provision in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management to refugees in their first 2 years.
• Conduct home visits and assessments with refugee families.
• Ensure provision of necessary referrals regarding health and public aid.
