Zusammenfassung

Mountainside is seeking a compassionate Recovery Coach to support clients in defining recovery goals and developing personalized wellness plans. You will work collaboratively, providing ongoing guidance and documenting progress in the EMR system to promote continuity of care.

You will help clients access resources (AA, NA, therapists) and support transitions back to work, school, or home, while educating families on boundaries and self-care. A strong communication skill set is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are required.
• Experience in recovery coaching or substance use treatment is required.
• 1–2+ years in substance use recovery settings is required.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Aufgaben

• Provide individualized support, education, and advocacy to clients and families.
• Assist clients in locating personal and recovery resources (AA, NA, therapy, etc.).
• Facilitate transitions back to work, school, or home while supporting the care plan.
• Educate families on communication, boundaries, and self-care.
• Schedule and document toxicology screenings.
• Develop and monitor Wellness Plans and recovery pathways.
• Refer clients to clinical, medical, legal, or social services as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with clinical and recovery teams to promote continuity of care.
