Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely, as well as push/pull equipment as required.
• Basic understanding of infection control and safety protocols.
• Compassionate, patient-centered attitude and strong empathy for patients.
• Must be available full time.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from radiology departments using stretchers, wheelchairs, or other transport devices.
• Ensure the comfort and well-being of patients during transit.
• Communicate effectively with patients to address concerns and provide reassurance.
• Collaborate with radiology and nursing staff to coordinate patient transfers and radiology schedules.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Maintain and inspect transport equipment to ensure it is clean and in good working condition.
• Complete documentation related to patient transport, including tracking arrivals and departures.
• Assist in other clinic duties as required.
