Job summary

Waneka Park Assisted Living is seeking a qualified QMAP to administer medications and provide compassionate care to our senior residents. You will observe residents, report changes to nursing staff, assist with daily living activities, and maintain accurate documentation in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid and active state-issued QMAP certification.
• Strong knowledge of emergency response and first aid (including CPR).
• Commitment to health and safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with state regulations and community policies.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
• Provide support and assistance with daily living activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident interactions.
• Uphold health and safety standards, following all federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Serve as a compassionate companion, contributing to residents' well-being and sense of community.
