Job summary

Munger Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Fort Gratiot.

As a family-owned private practice, we focus on quality care, teamwork, and meaningful patient relationships. PTAs help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to activities they love, in a hands-on, patient-centered environment at Clinton Township, Michigan.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Michigan PTA license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercise instruction and hands-on treatment techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on recovery, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Help create an encouraging and positive rehabilitation experience for every patient.
