Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the Brenham area. The PTA will work under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to treat patients, educate families, and document care.

This full-time role serves the Navasota, Old Washington, and Brenham East areas and is paid on a per-point basis with annual compensation estimates. The candidate must hold an Associate degree in Physical Therapy, be licensed to practice in Texas, have CPR certification, and be able to

Qualifications

• Requires associate degree in Physical Therapy and active Texas license.
• CPR certification is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to all business locations.
• Ability to implement and adjust care plans; educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and document treatment per physician orders and policy.
• Document interventions, priorities and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families and communicate updates to supervising therapist.
• Maintain timely daily notes and compliance with agency productivity standards.
• Attend agency meetings and participate in team conferences.

Education

Associate degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy

Licensed to practice in Texas

CPR certification

Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to all locations
