Job summary

PACS Group's Arvin Post Acute in the Bakersfield area is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). You will work under licensed PTs to help patients regain mobility and independence in a skilled nursing setting.

The role provides competitive pay of $42–$52/hour (DOE), full-time hours, and benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) match, PTO and holidays, with flexible scheduling and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active California PTA license.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in SNF or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and facility policies.
