Job summary

Echelon Care and Rehab Center in Voorhees Township, NJ, is seeking a Physical Therapist to organize and conduct physical therapy programs that facilitate rehabilitation. You will direct client participation to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance and promote independence and productivity.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, developing goals and treatment plans, documenting services, and coordinating with the rehab team.

Qualifications

• Good organizational skills and time management.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required per the State.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents, develops goals and treatment plans, and documents services.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices and trains residents in their use.
• Selects physical agent modalities suited to individual needs and diagnoses.
• Consults with rehab team to select appropriate regimens.
• Instructs residents in mobility skills and evaluates progress.
• Adapts program to resident needs and maintains safety.
• Attends care conferences and supervises supportive personnel.
• Conducts training for staff in PT techniques and objectives.
• Orders supplies and maintains equipment; reports repairs as needed.
• Ensures residents and families receive high-quality, compassionate care.
