Qualifications

Associate's degree or certificate in Physical Therapy Assisting.
CAAHEP-accredited PTA program.
Florida state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing patient treatment plans (exercises, stretches, interventions).
Conduct patient assessments and record data for progress reports to therapists.
Maintain accurate, detailed records of treatment and progress.
Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for patients.
Assist with equipment setup and maintenance.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
