Job summary

Community LIFE Wilkinsburg, PA is seeking a Program Assistant to support elderly participants with activities of daily living, recreation, and personal care in our Adult Day Center. You’ll work with compassion, discretion, and reliability to follow directions and maintain records.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4pm, with about 8 weekend hours per month. Pay starts at $15.50 per hour and increases with caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PA driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written directions; record messages and keep records.
• Empathetic, compassionate attitude toward the elderly.
• Physical and emotional stamina to perform assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Support recreational activities and help document progress.
