Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, holistic nursing care in long-term care settings with strict adherence to nursing standards and regulations. You will collaborate with facility leadership and the interdisciplinary team to deliver resident-focused care.

Essential duties include medication administration, care planning, and rounds with health care providers, while maintaining documentation and safety standards. Prior experience in LTC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Must possess a current and active license to practice as an RN in this state.
• Prefer to have experience in nursing in a long-term care facility or similar experience.
• Ability to work with ill, disabled, elderly residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the daily nursing functions in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care facilities.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents with care documentation.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered; monitor stock and notify about shortages.
• Communicate with health care providers and document treatment plans and progress notes.
• Provide clinical guidance and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
