Job summary

The Ivy of McKinney Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a detail‑oriented PRN Medication Technician (Med Tech) to provide as‑needed coverage across all shifts at our McKinney, TX location. You will administer medications, document accurately, and monitor residents’ health while communicating with the care team and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Caregiving experience preferred but training will be provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer skills and proficient English communication required.
• Demonstrated empathy, attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work flexible PRN shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background check and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as scheduled and per instructions.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain records.
• Monitor residents for health changes and communicate with care team and families.
• Provide compassionate care and ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Complete training to perform duties effectively in our community.
