Job summary

The Ivy of McKinney Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a detail‑oriented PRN Medication Technician (Med Tech) to provide as‑needed coverage across all shifts at our McKinney, TX location. You will administer medications, document accurately, and monitor residents’ health while communicating with the care team and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Caregiving experience preferred but training will be provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer skills and proficient English communication required.
• Demonstrated empathy, attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work flexible PRN shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background check and health screenings.

Your day as a Med Tech

As a PRN Med Tech at The Ivy of McKinney Assisted Living and Memory Care, you will be responsible for administering medication to residents according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions. You will also need to accurately document medication administration and maintain resident medical records in compliance with regulations. Additionally, you will play a key role in monitoring residents for any changes in health condition and communicating effectively with the care team and families. Your day-to-day tasks will involve providing compassionate care, ensuring the well-being of our residents, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
