Job summary

Correctional Healthcare Partners (CHP Health) is hiring PRN LPNs to provide compassionate nursing care in Lewis County Jail. You will work under RNs and physicians, ensure high-quality care, and follow established protocols in a correctional setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited LPN program, current licensure, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of clinical experience (correctional experience preferred). Pay is $49 per hour and benefits support is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN/vocational nursing program.
• Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of employment.
• Valid CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting; correctional healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow nursing processes and policies to ensure quality care.
• Coordinate with HSA, DON, and RN(s) in healthcare delivery.
• Utilize EHR with minimal supervision and assist training as needed.
• Communicate clearly with clients, peers, and staff at all levels.
• Document patient history, vitals, and changes in condition.
• Administer medications and document in MAR.
• Perform venipuncture and IV therapy as approved.
• Collect samples and cultures as ordered by Provider.
• Assist with triage, minor procedures, and transcription of orders.
• Implement prescribed protocol treatments per policy.
• Meet continuing education requirements and stay current with NCCHC standards.
• Promote patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
