Coastal Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Primary Care Physician to join our Kingsland, GA team. You will provide comprehensive primary care, manage acute and chronic conditions, and build lasting patient relationships.

Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO with an active GA license, board eligibility or certification in Family or Internal Medicine, and a commitment to preventive, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current and unrestricted GA medical license.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Primary care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients.
• Conduct physical examinations, obtain medical histories, and evaluate patient health concerns.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
• Provide preventive care, health screenings, and wellness education.
• Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
