Coastal Health seeks a compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our Clay County, Florida team. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary care, managing acute and chronic conditions, and building lasting patient relationships.

Ideal candidates will value teamwork, preventive medicine, and high-quality patient-centered care across the lifespan. Florida license and board eligibility/certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current and unrestricted Florida medical license.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• 3 to 5 years of directly related experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients.
• Conduct physical examinations, obtain medical histories, and evaluate patient health concerns.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
• Provide preventive care, health screenings, and wellness education.
• Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Follow established clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
