Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for the Clermont Medical Office Building. The TA provides skilled therapeutic interventions under the guidance of a Physical Therapist, documents patient progress in the electronic health record, and educates patients and families as part of comprehensive care.

The position may involve outpatient, inpatient, pediatric and off-site locations, emphasizing compassionate, evidence-based care within the Mercy Health system.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate therapeutic interventions under supervision
• Maintains accurate treatment records and documents progress
• Monitors response to treatment and reports to Physical Therapist
• Precepts students during clinical experiences as applicable
• Maintains departmental policies and procedures regarding safety and infection control
• Communicates patient progress to the therapist and care team
