Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our plasma donation center in the United States. You will guide donors through the donation process, perform venipuncture, and help ensure a safe, comfortable experience.

You will monitor donor well-being, maintain equipment, document donor data, and support daily operations and audits with a team committed to quality and donor care.

This role requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California).
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate donors on the donation process, policies, and plasma-based therapies.
• Greet donors and guide them through the donation process to establish trust.
• Perform venipuncture following SOPs, including arm prep, collection volumes, and restarts.
• Monitor donor well-being during donation and respond to adverse reactions.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, report malfunctions, and ensure readiness for daily operations.
• Set up and operate plasma donation machines and respond to alarms.
• Record donor data accurately in the donor information system.
• Respond to donor complaints, deferrals, or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support donor flow by working efficiently and flagging bottlenecks to management.
• Prepare the center for audits by maintaining cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Uphold data integrity and confidentiality for donor and center information.
