KEDPLASMA, a Kedrion Biopharma Inc. subsidiary, seeks a dedicated Phlebotomist in Hampton, VA to guide donors through the plasma donation process with care and precision.

You will perform venipuncture, monitor donor well-being, and maintain a clean, efficient center while working with a team committed to safety and donor care. Requirements include a high school diploma; phlebotomy certification preferred (CA); at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred; ability to handle regulated

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California).
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate in high-pressure situations.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and donor care.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Educate donors on donation process, policies, compensation, and therapies.
• Greet donors and introduce the process to establish trust.
• Perform venipuncture following SOPs, including prep and collection volumes.
• Monitor donor well-being and respond to adverse reactions.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment; report malfunctions.
