Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Phlebotomy course.
• Prior experience in a correctional setting preferred.
• Requires unrestricted current certification or registration as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture for blood collection.
• Conduct waived/moderate complexity testing and maintain QC.
• Keep lab records and document invasive procedures and refusals in medical records.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, and high-quality patient service.
• Work as scheduled, including holidays.
