Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Requires completion of a Phlebotomy course.
• Experience in a correctional setting preferred.
• Unrestricted current certification or registration as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture for blood specimen collection and conduct waived/moderate complexity testing.
• Maintain instrument QC and preventative maintenance; ensure timely lab completion and accurate records.
• Attend continuing education; communicate patient concerns to supervisors and maintain confidentiality.
