Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Properly labels, logs, and processes specimens.
• Prepares collection trays and maintains work areas.
• Provides patient instructions on collection procedures and tests.
• Monitors patient condition during collection to ensure safety.
• Documents specimen collection in LIS and records.
• Supports clerical tasks including filing and data entry.
• Ensures infection control and safety standards in patient interactions.
