Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering efficient, safe, and compassionate patient care across the store. You will help manage prescriptions, assist pharmacists, and provide excellent service at pickup, drive‑thru, and via phone, while adhering to SOPs and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 1–3 years of technician experience, state licensure, and the ability to perform immunization tasks where allowed.

Qualifications

• Comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• Must be at least 16 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• 1–3 years of prior Pharmacy Technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and assist pharmacists in medication preparation and patient service.
• Process prescriptions accurately and ensure safe, timely fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service at pick‑up, drive‑thru, and over the phone; assist with immunizations where allowed.
• Complete basic inventory tasks including receiving deliveries and cycle counts.
