Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision at our Topeka, KS location.

Schedule is 24 hours per week, with varied hours Mon-Fri and minor schedule coordination. Required KS license or ability to obtain in 14 days; immunization certified technician preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Kansas or ability to obtain within 14 days of offer acceptance and start date
• Access to reliable transportation
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
• Immunization certified technician

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and comply with federal/state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties related to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
