Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join Lourdes Hospital. The role includes pharmacy services, inventory control, compliance audits, and customer support under the Pharmacist, as part of an interdisciplinary care team.

Essential functions include processing prescriptions, educating patients, and maintaining records while adhering to infection-control policies. High school diploma and ExCPT/PTCB plus state registration are required. Prior pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Valid ExCPT or PTCB certification and state registration.
• Experience in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, Acute Care, or Home Infusion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify prescriptions.
• Educate patients on medication usage.
