Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient care. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and point-of-care services where permitted, and help manage inventory and patient interactions across the store.

The role focuses on delivering compassionate service at pick-up, drive-thru, and phone, while ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for pharmacy practice, including licensure/certification where applicable.
• Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred (1-3 years).
• Strong customer service and communication skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists with patient health.
• Adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic, high-quality service at pick-up, drive-thru, and via phone; support immunizations and other services when available.
• Manage basic inventory tasks and assist with deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks per policy.
• Contribute to a high-performing team; pursue ongoing clinical and technical knowledge expansion.
• Remain flexible for scheduling, possible travel to stores in the market as needed.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and CVS policies to protect patient safety and privacy.
• Provide additional healthCare services (immunizations, point-of-care testing) when trained and permitted by law.
