Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide compassionate care per each resident's care plan and assist in identifying needs while maintaining a safe, respectful environment across our communities.

Applicants should hold a PSW certificate/diploma and meet vocational standards, with knowledge of simple treatments and geriatric bedside care, plus solid sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of PSW certificate/diploma program.
• Meet ministry vocational standards.
• Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards.
• Know bedside care and sanitation basics for geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor care per established plan and report findings.
• Document resident information as directed.
• Attend in-service education, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist onboarding of new staff.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
