Job summary

The Personal Assistant role at SBM Management Services, LP provides comprehensive support to ensure the client’s well-being and comfort, including daily activities, household management, and companionship. To perform the duties, the individual must handle essential tasks satisfactorily, with other duties potentially assigned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience as a personal care assistant or similar role.
• High School diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in caregiving preferred
• Valid CA Driver’s License
• Knowledge of caregiving best practices and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds

Responsibilities

• Run errands, such as grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions, and provide transportation to various appointments and social activities.
• Manage schedules, organize appointments, and assist with correspondence and communication.
• Assists with household operations, including coordinating with service providers, managing household supplies, and ensuring the home is well-maintained.
• Assist with personal care tasks as needed, such as dressing, grooming, etc.
• Perform household tasks including cooking, cleaning, shopping, and laundry
• Help with mobility and physical therapy exercises as needed
• Provide companionship, including social interaction and conversation
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the client at all times
• Other duties as assigned
