Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of all mandated training programs.
• Two weeks to one month of on-the-job training is required to attain proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Observes assigned patient(s); serves in the capacity of a sitter for assigned patient(s) during specific shift.
• Assists with basic personal care services as appropriate and as assigned.
• Assists assigned patient(s) in toileting.
• Observes for and reports safety hazards, and prepares incident reports.
• Participates in team conferences, in-service education programs, and staff meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
